Lucchese Bootmaker, a heritage brand with deep roots in El Paso, is in the spotlight as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders prepare to wear custom boots for the annual \u201cMy Cause, My Boots\u201d game.<\/p>\n

Handmade at Lucchese\u2019s El Paso factory, the boots will feature colored stars representing causes chosen by each cheerleader. The initiative, set for Sunday, Nov. 23, during the Cowboys\u2019 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium, highlights personal advocacy and community impact.<\/p>\n

Cheerleaders will use their custom boots to raise awareness for issues including pregnancy and infant loss, domestic violence, food insecurity and heart health.<\/p>\n

  • Kleine Powell: Kentucky community organizations, including schools, food insecurity, preservation and farming<\/li>\n
  • Madeline Salter: Domestic Violence Awareness<\/li>\n
  • Kylie Dickson: Atrial Fibrosis Awareness, in honor of her grandmother<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Founded in San Antonio in 1883 by Sam Lucchese, Lucchese Bootmaker moved its operations to El Paso in June 1986. In February, the company opened a flagship store in Downtown El Paso, its 20th location in Texas and 27th nationwide. The store is located next to the Plaza Theatre.<\/p>\n

    Lucchese partnered with the Dallas Cowboys to launch a line of boots celebrating the NFL team, featuring styles for men, women and, for the first time in the brand\u2019s 140-year history, young girls.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThis collection not only captures the spirit of the Cowboys but also extends our legacy to the next generation,\u201d said Doug Hogue, vice president of product at Lucchese.<\/p>\n

    The boots feature the team\u2019s iconic star logo and colors: dark blue, bright white and silver. Prices range from $3,495 for the navy-and-white \u201cThe 1960\u201d to $995 for the all-white \u201cGina,\u201d inspired by the Cowboys cheerleaders. The children\u2019s version, \u201cLittle Gina,\u201d costs $275.<\/p>\n
