Former New York Jets player and current ESPN analyst Bart Scott continues to create waves in the media when bluntly denying the possibility of Drake Maye becoming an MVP candidate this season. Appearing on the program \u201cGet Up\u201d, Scott affirmed that putting Maye in the MVP race is inappropriate. Once again. he becomes the familiar \u201cvillain\u201d in the eyes of New England fans.

Scott admitted Maye is playing explosively but argued that the Patriots are only benefiting from an easy schedule. He said the 37\u201366 record of the opponents has inflated Maye’s performance.
