The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading back to California with the World Series tied at 1-1. This is the best-case scenario after being thoroughly embarrassed in Game 1. The first loss of the series may have been a bit of karma, as Dave Roberts sent a bold message to MLB.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore this season started, they said the Dodgers are ruining baseball. Let’s get four more wins and really ruin baseball,\u201d Roberts said on the air.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers responded emphatically in Game 2, winning 5-1 on the road. Los Angeles didn\u2019t want to return to California without a win in the series. It was an impressive showing from the starters, who also contributed to making MLB history.<\/p>\n

\u201cTonight, Yoshinobu Yamamoto (20) and Kevin Gausman (17) became the first opposing starters in MLB postseason history to each retire 14+ consecutive batters in the same game,\u201d Opta Stats wrote.<\/p>\n

For the remainder of the series, all eyes will be on Andy Pages, as Roberts has already mentioned potentially benching him.<\/p>\n

\u201cDave Roberts says he’s ‘keeping a close eye’ on Andy Pages and has considered making a change if his struggles continue,\u201d Dodgers Blue posted.<\/p>\n

During the game, Pages went down once again, worsening his already difficult postseason. A Dodgers writer sent a message to Roberts about him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndy Pages grounds to second and is now 3-40 this postseason. It’s been time for a change,\u201d Dodgers Nation\u2019s Doug McKain posted.<\/p>\n

Pages\u2019 glove is exceptional, but his bat is currently hurting the Dodgers more than helping. In the World Series, there\u2019s no time to struggle.<\/p>\n

Pages needs to step up now, but it doesn\u2019t look like that will be the case. The Dodgers have options to replace him in center field, so don\u2019t be surprised if he isn\u2019t in the starting lineup for Game 3.<\/p>\n
