Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has put together two MVP-caliber season since signing with the Dodgers ahead of 2024, and has no regrets about joining LA.<\/p>\n
Since coming to the Dodgers, Ohtani has won a World Series, an MVP award, an NLCS MVp award and has made both of the last two All-Star Games. He has hit more than 50 homers in his last two seasons, and is likely to win his third straight MVP award in 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I\u2019m grateful that joining the Dodgers and being able to play in the postseason has been a very grateful experience for me, and being able to play with all kinds of teammates this year is a little different than last year,\u201d Ohtani said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m just really grateful that I\u2019m in this situation and being able to play in this playoff environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ohtani spent the first six seasons of his MLB career with the Los Angeles Angels, with whom he never made a postseason appearance. He won the World Series in his first ever postseason, hitting three homers and driving home 10 runs during his run.<\/p>\n
The reigning MVP is once again in the middle of a deep playoff run in 2025, and has begun pitching once again after a UCL injury in 2023. He had arguably the best performance in postseason history in NLCS Game 4.<\/p>\n
The right-hander dazzled in his first postseason pitching appearance against the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS, posting six innings with nine strikeouts, allowing just three runs on three hits. He was then even better in NLCS Game 4, pitching six shutout innings with 10 strikeouts.<\/p>\n

Ohtani helped send the Dodgers to the World Series in NLCS Game 4. He\u2019ll look to help LA become MLB\u2019s first back-to-back champions in a quarter-century over the next couple weeks.<\/p>\n
