Speaking to\u00a0Esquire\u00a0alongside his\u00a0Jonas Brothers\u00a0bandmates, siblings Kevin and Nick, the 36-year-old musician was asked about the 35-year-old’s singer.<\/p>\n

Joe \u2014 who was previously married to Taylor’s friend\u00a0Sophie Turner\u00a0\u2014 was asked if he likes the former’s latest album,\u00a0The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019ve heard some of it. I think she\u2019s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it\u2019s good. Everybody\u2019s got an opinion about it, but from what I\u2019ve heard, there are some catchy melodies,’ he said.<\/p>\n

It comes after in 2008 Taylor aired out her grievances over her breakup with Joe in an\u00a0Ellen DeGeneres interview.<\/p>\n

She famously said she wasn’t ‘going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18.’<\/p>\n

Joe uploaded a TikTok video in April that showed him strolling through the streets of London while sporting a gray suit.<\/p>\n

A fan wrote a comment quoting the 2021 Taylor lyrics, ‘So dignified in his well pressed suit.’ The line belongs to the Vault edition of her Fearless (Taylor’s Version) album.<\/p>\n

Joe responded plainly, ‘Thanks for noticing,’ leaving fans wondering if he understood the reference or not.<\/p>\n
