The San Francisco 49ers suffered a brutal injury blow earlier this season when star pass rusher Nick Bosa went down for the rest of the year due to a torn ACL. John Lynch has his work cut out for him trying to replace Bosa.<\/p>\n

With the NFL trade deadline starting to come up quickly, the 49ers have been linked to quite a few different potential targets.<\/p>\n

Of course, the most popular target that has been talked about is Cincinnati Bengals star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson. However, there is another name to keep a close eye on in the coming days and weeks before the deadline.<\/p>\n

How about looking into a trade with the Green Bay Packers for one of their many edge rushers?<\/p>\n

Easton Butler of Packer Report has shared that San Francisco is one of the two teams that have shown interest in trading for Packers’ defensive end Kingsley Enagbare. He also mentioned that the Jacksonville Jaguars have reached out.<\/p>\n

“2 teams have called the Packers about Edge Rusher Kingsley Enagbare,” Butler wrote on X. “The Jaguars and 49ers have called, asking about the availability of him im told.”<\/p>\n

Enagbare is one of the more intriguing potential trade candidates for teams needing pass rushing help. He has never been able to break in as a consistent starter in Green Bay, but has played at a high level when he has been on the field.<\/p>\n

Throughout his 55-game NFL career thus far, Enagbare has recorded 113 total tackles to go along with 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and four defended passes. Those numbers show a glimpse at big potential.<\/p>\n

At just 25 years old, the 49ers would be getting a piece that they could keep around long-term if they were to trade for him. He’s playing in the final year of his current contract, but Enagbare would not cost an arm and a leg to re-sign. That makes him an even more interesting potential trade target.<\/p>\n

Expect to continue hearing rumors about San Francisco leading up to the deadline. The 49ers have remained a contender in the NFC despite their early-season injury issues this year. Being aggressive and adding talent could help propel them to being Super Bowl contenders at the end of the season.<\/p>\n
