The Milwaukee Brewers have elected to add two pitchers to their 40-man roster. This move ensures that both players are protected from the upcoming Rule-5 Draft. Joining the 40-man roster are right-handers Logan Henderson and Chad Patrick.<\/p>\n

Logan Henderson\u00a0was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Brewers.\u00a0 He was the top available JuCo arm that year and after a slow start in the professional ranks his stock has shot upwards over the past two seasons.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s current 11th ranked prospect made 18 starts in 2023 while pitching to a 2.75 ERA.\u00a0 Last year he climbed across three levels, ended in Triple-A, and pitched to a 3.32 ERA.\u00a0 On the mound his changeup grades out as his best pitch.<\/p>\n

Chad Patrick\u00a0was acquired in November of 2023 when the Brewers traded Abraham Toro to the Oakland Athletics.\u00a0 In his first year with Milwaukee he ended up winning the\u00a0pitcher\u2019s triple crown in the minor leagues.<\/p>\n

This entailed of leading the International League (Triple-A) in wins (14), ERA (2.90), and strikeouts (145).\u00a0 He also accumulated 136.1 innings pitched this year, had a 9.57 K:9, and a 1.09 WHIP.<\/p>\n

There are lots of players that were left unprotected by the Brewers, but notable players include pitchers Coleman Crow plus Shane Smith along with position players Wes Clarke and Ernesto Martinez Jr.<\/p>\n
