Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has a “big fan” in David Bakhtiari.<\/p>\n

The former Packers left tackle took to social media to offer high praise for the fourth-year wide receiver after his three-touchdown performance in Green Bay’s 40-40 tie Sept. 28 against the Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n

But his comments weren’t just about what he saw on the field. Bakhtiari, who played two seasons with Doubs, in 2022 and 2023, wanted to talk about Doubs, the person.<\/p>\n

“Romeo Doubs success is the fact that he is a Pros Pro,” Bakhtiari wrote on X Sept. 29. “Very detailed and reliable with steady improvement. The best part is the kind of man he is off the field. Genuine and heartfelt.”<\/p>\n

“I’m a big fan of Rome’s game as a player, and character as a person.”<\/p>\n

As a player, Doubs balled out before a prime-time audience on “Sunday Night Football.”<\/p>\n

He caught the Packers’ first two touchdowns of the game in helping them get out to an early 13-0 lead. He then had a late go-ahead touchdown in regulation, a 15-yard catch on third-and-10, that gave the Packers a 34-30 lead with under two minutes left. On that drive, his 18-yard catch and run on third-and-8 with the Packers at their own 22-yard line was huge.<\/p>\n

It was Doubs’ first three-touchdown game of his career. And with four TDs this season, he’s already tied his season total from 2024 and is well on pace to set a career best.<\/p>\n

The typically reserved Doubs appears rejuvenated in 2025 \u2014 he’s showing much more emotion after catches and TDs.<\/p>\n

It follows a rough season in which he missed four games \u2014 two after suffering the first of two concussions last season and another for a team-imposed suspension in October.<\/p>\n
