There is no bigger storyline about the upcoming Week 4 battle between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington than Micah Parsonsâ return to his old stomping grounds. Parsons and the Cowboys did not have such a glorious split, which ended when the Cowboys traded Parsons to Green Bay in exchange for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks in 2026 and 2027.
It will be interesting to see what kind of reception Parsons will have when he gets introduced at Jerry World and once he steps on the field. Whatâs certain is that his focus will be on helping his new team thwart his former employer.
Cowboys insider doesnât think there will be a pregame meeting between Parsons

During a recent episode of âSnoop City, â Jon Machota of The Athletic said that he seriously doubts that Dallas owner Jerry Jones and Parsons will mingle before Sundayâs game, and itâs not because of the defensive end.
âI would be very, very surprised if thereâs any type of meeting between those two before the game,â Machota said.
âAnd it has nothing to do with Micah, like Micah and the Cowboys players. I think heâs cool with a lot of them. Still, you go back to the night when the trade happened. Several of them went over his house and celebrated with him. Tyler Smith talked about going over there. Trayvon digs is one of his best friends, CeeDee Lamb, heâs really close with. So no, the players will be fine. Jerry holds grudges like no other and he can say whatever he wants. And heâll say that everythingâs fine. But I believe that it got to a level to where it was personal with Jerry and thatâs why this ultimately happened and he ended up parting ways with a star player.â
“Jerry holds grudges like no other.”
Don’t count on a pregame meetup between Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons, says @jonmachota.

A win for the Packers will definitely be ideal for Parsons, given the circumstances and his history with the Cowboys. Moreover, Green Bay wants to recover right away from its recent loss to the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 3 after starting the 2025 season with back-to-back wins.
