Martha Stewart is confident in Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding planning skills.
Stewart, 84, told TMZ during a Wednesday, Sept. 24 conversation that sheâs not worried about Swift and Kelceâs upcoming nuptials.
When asked about how she would plan their wedding, Stewart replied, âI think the dear vocalist knows what sheâs doing.â
âShe doesnât need me,â she said before adding, âShe has Travis.â
Stewartâs cheeky reply follows her comment on the pairâs engagement news in late August. The 14-time Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35, announced their engagement on Tuesday, Aug. 26, in a joint Instagram post. Travis popped the question in a garden at his home, according to his dad, Ed Kelce. At the time, Stewart shared an Instagram post of a split-screen photo from Swift and Kelce’s engagement shoot, accompanied by a video of herself sipping a glass of white wine, which she called “the nectar of the Gods.”
In the caption of the joint post with Martha’s Weddings, the lifestyle entrepreneur jokingly wrote, “đš Itâs time to call in the ultimate wedding planner đš.”
While Stewart is no longer offering her services to the superstar couple, Flavor Flav recently told PEOPLE that he hopes to be their wedding officiant.”And if she does, hopefully if I have my license in time, I want to be the one officiating the wedding,” the musician, 66, told PEOPLE at the 2025 Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) Gala on Sept. 18.
Other celebrities are also getting in on the wedding action. Mark Ronson said during his appearance on The Tonight Show on Sept. 11 that he offered to take on a major wedding role: the wedding DJ.
Ronson’s stepdad, Mick Jones, also joined in and pitched his band, Foreigner, to perform at the engaged couple’s wedding.
Meanwhile, TV personality Buddy Valastro offered to make the couple’s wedding cake.
Although they have shared photos and details from their engagement publicly, the couple will keep their nuptials more private, a source previously told PEOPLE. âIt will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,â the source said. âThey both have a close circle of friends, and theyâll respect their privacy.â
