The New York Giants are realizing they may have a star in the making.  Rookie running back Cam Skattebo has shown that he has what it takes to be a leader on this offense.  Not only on the field, but on the sidelines as well.

Metlife Stadium hosted another tough Sunday Night Football game for the New York Giants, who lost 22-9 to the Kansas City Chiefs:

The Giants dropped to 0-3 on the season with the loss, while the Chiefs improved to 1-2 on the year. It’s been another disappointing start to the season for New York, though a promising bright spot is rookie Cam Skattebo. The 23-year-old rookie out of Arizona State has been playing very well.

Skattebo, a fourth round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, had a solid showing on Sunday evening, despite his team’s loss to Kansas City.

The New York Giants rookie running back had the best game of his young NFL career on Sunday evening.

Cam Skattebo’s Week 3 stats were impressive

• 10 rushes for 60 yards, one touchdown
• Six receptions for 61 yards

On the season, Skattebo is up to 102 rushing yards and two touchdowns, with 10 receptions for 87 yards. That’s pretty good production from a fourth round NFL Draft pick.

Meanwhile, as Skattebo shines on the field, his girlfriend has been trending on social media.

Skattebo, who is dating Chloe Rodriguez, posed for a photo with his girlfriend before kickoff on Sunday evening. She shared the photo to her Instagram Story. The longtime girlfriend of the NFL rookie has close to 2,000 followers on Instagram, but that number could increase moving forward, especially if Skattebo continues to play well.
