Jordan Love’s horror moment just sparked an all-time Packers embarrassment

The Green Bay Packers had everything under control, but a horror moment from Jordan Love sparked their most embarrassing collapse in recent memory.

Minutes after the Packers’ defense forced the Browns to scrap for only three points, Love had the chance to lead the team to a relatively comfortable win. Instead, he chose the worst moment to end his 308-day interception-free streak.

It was a nightmare on so many levels. The decision? Disastrous. The throw? Horrendous. The result? Humiliating.

Love’s pick all but gifted the Browns the game-tying touchdown, and that moment sparked a crushing collapse that leaves the Packers 2-1.

Jordan Love’s interception sparked embarrassing Packers collapse in humiliating loss to Browns

Love spent most of the afternoon dodging Browns defenders after his offensive line provided little help. A run of injuries, first to Zach Tom, and then Aaron Banks, caused the Packers to frantically reshuffle.

For the most part, Love did enough to navigate it. Enough to win the game, it seemed.

But then Love made the kind of unforgivable play that crushed the Packers at the big moments early last season. He misread the coverage and threw a soft pass directly to Browns safety Grant Delpit at the Packers’ 29-yard line, who returned it 25 yards to the four. Cleveland quickly found the end zone to tie the game.

Love responded by leading the Packers into field-goal range, but then the second wave of humiliation began.

Green Bay survived what appeared to be a Josh Jacobs fumble. Then, a penalty pushed back the attempt. Then a blocked field goal. Then a Micah Parsons offside pushed the Browns into field-goal range of their own. All of those sickening ingredients led to a stunning Browns comeback.

It’s ugly. It’s embarrassing. The blame falls on many, but Love’s interception sparked the collapse. Love is one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, but with the game on the line, he didn’t play like it.

After a dream start to the 2025 season, these Packers just crashed back down to earth. It’s an all-time collapse, and one they must quickly put behind them.
