Edelman always committed himself to New England

Edelman spent all 11 NFL seasons with New England and spoke to reporters on Friday about his desire to play for no other team.
âI think itâs amazing to get to play my career just in New England,â Edelman said, via Patriots on CLNS. âDid I think I was gonna play somewhere else? Yeah, but didnât want to, and thankfully, I didnât. (Tom Brady) TB did hit me up after the Tampa thing. He just kind of said, âYou want me to try to get down here?â At that point in my career, I was content being here.â
Edelman is a Patriots playoff hero, recording 118 catches for 1,442 yards and six touchdowns in 19 postseason games.
The most crucial game of Edelmanâs career was Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams, where he caught 10 passes for 141 yards and earned the gameâs MVP.

Not many NFL players can play over a decade with only one team. Edelmanâs choice to spend his entire career with the Patriots says a lot about both him and the organization, as they never gave up on each other.
