🚨🚨🚨 BIG MONEY MOVE: Phillies predicted to make a massive $20 million decision on Harrison Bader, and the baseball world is buzzing! Fans are exploding with takes, social media is on fire with speculation, and analysts are breaking down every angle of the gamble. Every dollar, every stat, every potential outcome is under the microscope as Philly weighs the risk. Could this high-stakes call reshape the team’s future—or backfire in the biggest way possible?

Harrison Bader gets ovation, walks in Phillies debut

The Philadelphia Phillies have been one of the hottest teams in baseball in September. Thanks to their four-game sweep of the New York Mets, the Phillies were able to clinch the NL East before any other team wrapped up its division.

A huge reason why the Phillies had so much success against the Mets was thanks to Harrison Bader, the team’s trade deadline addition to the outfield. He, along with Jhoan Duran, has been a revelation for this team.

But, unlike Duran, who’s under control through 2027, Bader is likely a free agent after 2025. If the Phillies were to re-sign Bader, Matt Grazel of thatballsouttahere.com predicts that the Phillies will make a $20 million decision on Bader this offseason.

Phillies predicted to re-sign Harrison Bader to a $20 million deal

The major caveat with a free agent deal with Bader is that he’s interested in returning. If he continues to play as well as he has and helps the team win a World Series, the Phillies fans would certainly welcome him back.

If Bader wants to come back, Grazel predicts that “The contract could be for two years and $20 million, including up to $2.5 million in bonuses, and a player option after the two seasons.”

Inking Bader to a multi-year deal would be a nice move to solidify the outfield in Philadelphia for the next few years. With Justin Crawford slated to make his debut soon and Brandon Marsh turning the corner, the outfield might be settled with those three players.

Grazel also brought up a potential one-year deal at $12 million for Bader, with another player option if the Phillies and Bader can’t agree to a multi-year deal.

He signed for $6.5 million with the Minnesota Twins ahead of the 2025 season, and he signed for $10.5 million the year prior with the Mets. With how great he’s played, Bader likely will fetch a higher price tag than those two deals.

A $20 million contract over two years would be worth it for Bader. Aside from stellar defense in center field, Bader has been on a tear offensively for the Phillies.

Through 40 games, Bader has a .333 batting average with an .899 OPS and a 144 OPS+. He has 46 hits, 26 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 15 RBIs in 138 at-bats with the Phillies since being traded at the end of July.

This season has been his best offensive year by far, and at 31 years old, it’s an impressive performance for Bader in his ninth season in Major League Baseball.

After bouncing around the MLB the last few years, Bader might’ve found a home in Philadelphia. He’s been incredible, and Grazel’s $20 million prediction would be more than worth it to keep Bader in Philadelphia for the next two years.
