The New England Patriots have a new tradition in 2025.

“Aww Yeah!” appears to be a thing of the past. “Keeper of the Light” is back for its third consecutive season, but is clearly running out of steam. “Pat Patriot” uniforms are just another piece of the rotation, at this point.

Diggs appears to have started a new mid-game tradition during Sunday’s comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins, forcing his teammates to follow a set of sudden sideline rules.

The Patriots provided video of his realization on Tuesday, which can be found here.

“Let me [sit] between y’all. Good things happen when I’m between y’all,” Diggs told Boutte and Douglas, per team-provided video.

Kyle Williams, the rookie wide receiver who probably wanted to talk with his veterans, was shooed away. Josh Dobbs, the backup quarterback who almost never gets to sit on the bench, was yelled at for walking near the trio — prompting him to ask if they were being superstitious.

“I’m stitious, not superstitious,” Diggs responded.

The Patriots will almost certainly keep following that superstition if they continue winning games — with their next challenge coming on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium.
