The San Francisco 49ers are dealing with a lot of injuries, but the saving grace is that Christian McCaffrey is healthy.

And yes, every 49ers fan just knocked on some wood.
But for now, CMC is on the field, even as Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk miss time.
And when he’s on the field, McCaffrey is usually doing special things. That was the case again on Sunday when he joined some cool NFL history.

McCaffrey did it by catching a touchdown pass from Mac Jones during the 49ers’ win over the Saints. It was the 30th TD reception of his career.
With it, McCaffrey became the third player in NFL history to have at least 50 rushing TDs and 30 receiving TDs, according to Pro Football Talk.

McCaffrey joins Marshall Faulk and Lenny Moore on that list.
CMC has a total of 52 rushing touchdowns to go now with his 30 receiving touchdowns.
Sunday’s score was his first since the 2023 season after he played four injury-plagued games in 2024.
“I’d love to get there a lot more,” McCaffrey told reporters afterward of getting into the end zone. “But no, I’m just so happy to be playing on this team and feeling good. We’ll continue to get better and grow and get ready for next week.”

There have been memes circulating on social media centered around the idea that McCaffrey can only be healthy if other ‘Niners are hurting.

San Francisco certainly hopes that’s not the case, because McCaffrey is special, and if the 49ers can pair him with the rest of their healthy roster, they can win a lot of football games.
