CLEVELAND, Ohio — Tanner Bibee activated ace mode on Friday, striking out 10 White Sox batters and limiting Chicago to two hits in his first career shutout, a 4-0 Guardians win at Progressive Field.
It was Bibee’s second career complete game and his first shutout as a pro. He became the first Cleveland pitcher to throw a complete game shutout since Zach Plesac against the Angels on Sept. 10, 2019.
