The Dallas Cowboys, the team Ferguson now plays for, put him and Hanna to the test with their version of “The Newlywed Game.”
Haley and Ferguson announced their dreamy engagement that took place on Florida’s Fort Myers Beach in a joint Instagram post in April. The two met when Ferguson slid into Haley’s social media DMs in June 2023, then officially started dating in September of that year, People reported.
In the video the Cowboys posted on social media Sept. 8, Ferguson and Hanna were asked a series of fun questions to see who knows their beloved Haley best.
In the league’s 2025 season opener Sept. 4 — which proved to be dramatic from the start — the Cowboys ultimately fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-20, at Lincoln Financial Field.

Ferguson’s answer: “I don’t know if there’s an actress as good-looking as her,” he began. Brownie points right there, Big Biscuit. But, he ended up going with a younger Angelina Jolie from her “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” era, but blonde.

Haley’s answer: “People that, like, interrupt.”
What phrase or word do you overuse?
Ferguson’s answer: While Haley says “bro” and “chicken” a lot, Ferguson said, he went with the latter.
Hanna’s answer: Very sister-coded. “Hanna, not right now.”
Haley’s answer: “God forbid” or “It’s not clocking.”
The winner is …
Hanna! That’s twin telepathy for ya.

Dallas drafted Ferguson in the fourth round, No. 129 overall, in the 2022 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, Ferguson started eight games and caught 19 passes, with two touchdowns. Ferguson had a breakout season in 2023, setting career-highs in catches (71), receiving yards (761) and receiving touchdowns (five) and made his first Pro Bowl. That year also included a three-touchdown effort in a loss to the Green Bay Packers in the postseason.
Ferguson was held scoreless in 2024 as the Cowboys offense struggled without franchise quarterback Dak Prescott in the lineup for much of the season.
This summer, Ferguson agreed to a four-year, $52 million extension, with $30 million guaranteed, which made him the highest-paid tight end in Cowboys history.
Who are the Cavinder twins?
Hanna and Haley gained notoriety on TikTok, then became “the queens of NIL” when the NCAA changed its endorsement policy, which had previously long prohibited individual sponsorships for student-athletes.
