Braves and Cubs clash again – and here’s how you can watch

The Atlanta Braves 2025 season continues, because they have to play the rest of their regular season games, with the Chicago Cubs coming to town. This will be the second time in a week that the two teams have faced each other.

The Braves were destroyed in the last two games of their series loss against the Seattle Mariners allowing 28 runs including 18 runs on Sunday. On the other hand, the Cubs have the National League’s third best record and hold the top Wild Card spot since they trail the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Central.

The Cubs took two-out-of-three from the Braves last week. Chicago fans travel well, so Truist Park may be a little more lively that it would given where things stand this season. Atlanta will welcome the Houston Astros for a weekend series after bidding adieu to Chicago.

The good news? No weird streaming games of atypical start times during the series.

Here are the start times for each of the upcoming games against the Cubs.

  • Monday, September 8 – 7:15 PM EDT
