The Green Bay Packers are just hours away from making their 2025 NFL debut. Fans can’t wait for the team to finally take the field against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field this Sunday, especially with many expecting Micah Parsons to suit up and see action for the first time in Green Bay colors.
It’s been over a week since the Packers shockingly acquired the former Penn State Nittany Lions star from the Dallas Cowboys via a trade, but Green Bay fans are still buzzing about it.
In fact, some fans even put up some artwork on a fence across Lombardi Avenue from Lambeau Field, showing Parsons in Green & Gold threads and a teary-eyed Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Will Parsons be on the field in Packers-Lions?

There are for the Lions game. A back issue has held him to just a limited capacity in practices over the last few days.
However, the expectation still is that he will be playing versus Detroit, but his snaps could be in check, as he continues to deal with the said upper-body issue. That’s not to mention that he did not get to have a training camp with his new team.
In any case, Parsons will be a name to watch out for in Green Bay going forward after collecting 52.5 sacks in four years with the Cowboys.
