Caring for a pet with special needs requires time, patience, and resources. Unfortunately, not every family is able to provide that level of commitment. Lunetta, a small paralyzed dog from Salta, Argentina, faced this reality when she was left tied to a railing outside with a bag of diapers and a note explaining her situation.

Once she regained her strength, Lunetta’s personality shined. She received a specially designed wheelchair that allowed her to run freely again. For the first time in a long while, she could enjoy walks in the park, playtime with her new canine sister, and even snowy holiday adventures with her adoptive family.

Her days were filled with love, laughter, and the comfort of knowing she was finally home. From Christmas celebrations to quiet afternoons resting by the window, Lunetta experienced the kind of life every dog deserves one filled with compassion and joy.

A Bittersweet Goodbye

As time passed, age began to catch up with her. Shortly after celebrating her 11th birthday, Lunetta grew ill and was admitted to the University Medical Hospital. Surrounded by those who adored her, she peacefully said goodbye.
