Jason Kelce, former center for the Philadelphia Eagles, recently gave his two cents on the whole drama between linebacker Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons had been seeking a contract extension with the Cowboys, but the deal extended to him by team owner Jerry Jones was not what he wanted. Finally tired of the stalled negotiations, Micah Parsons finally put in a trade request a few days back.

More and more people have been blaming Jerry Jones for his sour relationship with Parsons, but the business mogul has claimed that the one at fault is the linebacker’s agent, David Mulugheta. Jason Kelce discussed this exact topic with his brother, Travis Kelce, in the latest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, where he called out Jerry Jones for his poor decision-making.

“There’s one common denominator here, right? And that’s Jerry, right? Jerry is kind of the issue of a lot of things that people have brought up for a long time in Dallas. And, you know, there’s part of me that really likes Jerry Jones. … There’s an old schoolness to him that I appreciate. But, like, you have to find a way to work this out. I feel like, if you’re the owner with Micah Parsons, and it just feels like it’s not going in the right direction.” Jason Kelce said to Travis Kelce, about Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones in the latest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce also discussed many other topics, including the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s recent engagement to Taylor Swift. The brothers also spoke much about Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns, with each brother having contrasting views.

“Thanks to the one and only Taylor Swift for hopping on and deciding to talk with two complete idiots that don’t know anything about the music industry. And it was a doozy! So, get ready for a much lower bar this week.” Jason Kelce said.

The ‘New Heights’ episode, which had Taylor Swift as a surprise guest, had the most views in the history of the podcast. Nevertheless, the recent episode was also pretty interesting, with the brothers talking about several crucial football topics.
