BALTIMORE — David Hamilton will start at second base and Connor Wong will be behind the plate against Baltimore on Monday.

The Red Sox and Orioles begin a four-game series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards at 6:35 p.m.

Starting catcher Carlos Narváez will begin the game on the bench while Ceddanne Rafaela is back in center field after starting at second base on Sunday.

Masataka Yoshida will serve as the DH.

Lefty Brennan Bernardino will serve as an opener for Boston. Righty Richard Fitts, whose 10 outings this season have all been starts, likely will follow Bernardino as the bulk reliever. It’s just the second time the Sox have used an opener this season. Bernardino also did it July 2 at home against the Reds, tossing 1 ⅔ scoreless innings.

Baltimore starter Tomoyuki Sugano (10-5, 3.97 ERA) pitched against the Red Sox at Fenway Park last Tuesday and allowed just one unearned run in 5 innings. He received a no decision in Baltimore’s 4-3 win in 11 innings.
