A veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader recently stunned fans with her admission on TikTok this week.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have been making headlines this offseason. The cheerleaders finally received a big – and well deserved – pay raise. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders also released Season 2 of their “America’s Sweethearts” show on Netflix.

But one veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader recently stunned fans with her admission on TikTok. Fans couldn’t believe what a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader had to admit about her gameday routine.

Abby Summers, a veteran Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, revealed that she has to fluff her own pom pom for games.

The video was shared to her TikTok on Monday, June 30. Summers, who is heading into her second season with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, walked her fans through her fluffing routine on TikTok.

“Tonight starts pom pom fluffing time,” the DCC cheerleader says in the video. “As I fluff, I’m going to catch up on the rest of my Love Island episode,” she continued.

Fans couldn’t believe it.

“DCC is literally so embarrassing what do you mean you have to make your own pom-poms and wash your own uniform that you don’t even get to keep when you retire?!?!?!?! It’s a multi billion dollar organisation 💀,” one fan wrote.

“Imagine if the football players had to blow up the footballs themselves and make their costumes 😐,” one fan added.

“At this point I’m surprised they don’t make the DCC cook dinner for the damn football players😭,” one fan added.

“I had no idea this had to be done,” one fan added.

Summers, meanwhile, walked viewers through every step of the process.

“You just keep repeating this process of tying in different directions until it gets fluffy,” she said.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are far from the only NFL cheerleaders that have to fluff their own pom-poms prior to games or events.

But viewers remain shocked that the team couldn’t get someone else to do it for them.
