Kylie Kelce raves over Taylor Swift’s epic ‘New Heights’ viral jab – is this the boldest NFL podcast moment yet

Kylie Kelce is taking away one very important message from Taylor Swift‘s appearance on the “New Heights” podcast.

During the Thursday, August 21, episode of her own “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie, 33, praised a now-viral clip from Jason and Travis Kelce‘s show — a.k.a. “the other podcast” — which featured Swift, 35, as a special guest on August 13.The trending audio in question was heard in the first preview of Swift’s “New Heights” appearance as she threw shade at men who haven’t been pleased to see her at Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games over the past two years.

“I think we all know that if there’s one thing male sports fans wanna see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me,” Swift teased.

Kylie told listeners she could “confidently” call the quote “one of the most badass things ever said” on her husband and brother-in-law’s show. She went on to give a shout-out to sports analyst Mina Kimes, who recently shared her own interpretation of the audio via TikTok.

“It’s so good. … I love this audio so much,” Kylie added. “I love all the women in sports that I have seen using this trend. Ilona Maher, Livvy Dunne … there have been so many women who have taken this audio and just absolutely nailed it. So men, get used to it.”

Elsewhere in Thursday’s episode, Kylie threw in some subtle Swift references for those of Us who still haven’t recovered from the pop star’s podcast debut.

During her introduction, Kylie referred to herself as an “enjoyer of sourdough” and teased, “If you know, you dough.”

Kylie went on to joke about her trademark 45-minute podcast episodes after eagle-eyed fans noticed a recent installment ran a few minutes longer. “If you’re thinking to yourself maybe 48 is some kind of easter egg, it’s not. We’re not that slick around here,” Kylie said. (Extremely online Swifties know the number actually causing confusion in the fandom is 47.)

Along with discussing her newfound hobby of baking sourdough — and crafting a few song title puns related to bread — Swift used her “New Heights” appearance to unveil the cover of her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. She also opened up about her first impressions of Kylie and Jason, 37, when they attended a Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in early 2024.“Did you know I was told to be on my best behavior?” Jason asked Swift, who replied, “I didn’t know what you were told. I did know that one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie [was], ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ … She goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?’”

Swift continued, “Since then, I’ve heard her say that exact thing to your 4-year-old. I meet you, you’re exactly as I thought you would be. Kylie is exactly as I thought she would be. The realest. The smartest, the coolest. You’re fantastic.”
