The Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons have all but split up.  The two sides have seemingly arrived at a
“there’s no coming back from this” solution.  Parsons has not only made it clear he wants to be traded, but he just made it clear he doesn’t want to be affiliated with the Cowboys at all.

Apparently, Parsons’ reps and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones have completely lost touch, which is the biggest reason for a Parsons-Cowboys divorce:

“The Cowboys have come out and said what they said publicly at the start of training camp, which Micah didn’t like. Micah came out and asked to be traded, said he was ready to move on from Dallas, which I’m sure they didn’t like, and right now, both sides seem to be angry,” the ESPN NFL insider said.

“You can’t get a deal done if you’re not even talking, and the two sides haven’t had any negotiations since late March or early April, and it sounds like at this point it’s personal.”

The Patriots, who ranked dead last in the NFL in sacking the opposing quarterback with just 28 in 2024, should move quickly to acquire Parsons, according to Nick Cattles, host of the Locked on Patriots podcast, speaking on Wednesdays’ edition of the daily program.

“I’ll tell you right now, this is the deal that you make 100 times out of a 100. If you’re the Pats, you are absolutely interested in making this deal,” Cattles declared on the Locked On podcast. “If you find out that Parsons is available, you have to take advantage. You have to get involved. You cannot pass up a deal for that type of talent. Short-term, long-term, both, Parsons is an answer for you. And that’s why you have to absolutely go after this if it is there to be chased.”
