The Dallas Cowboys offseason circus just got louder. ESPN insider Adam Schefter says Micah Parsons and Dallas are headed for a split, and it may happen sooner than most fans expected. His report comes at a time when talk of Parsons considering drastic measures to push the front office has already stirred frustration among fans.
Schefter made his point on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike.
“Today I feel comfortable saying I don’t think he’ll finish his career in Dallas,” he said. “The way things have gotten this offseason, the way people are talking, the way things sound, yeah, I would think that there is a real possibility that this potentially could be the last year for Micah in Dallas.”
That’s a gut punch for Cowboys Nation. But Schefter also reminded everyone that this is nothing new. Dallas feeds on drama, and Jerry Jones seems to welcome it.

Parsons has refused to take part in training camp. The standoff with the team keeps dragging, and trade rumors are picking up steam. Schefter explained that unless Dallas suddenly makes Parsons the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, the relationship looks bad.
