Dodgers infielder Max Muncy has called for stricter consequences for inappropriate fan behavior after a near-injury incident involving teammate Mookie Betts.

During a recent game, a fan reached over the wall, almost causing serious harm to Betts. Reflecting on the incident, Muncy emphasized how dangerous it could have been:

“Thankfully Mookie didn’t get hurt. You’re talking about your arm hanging over the wall… very easy to get hyper-extended or snap something.”
