Dallas Cowboys suffers major blow after star is ruled out for entire 2025 season

THE Dallas Cowboys have suffered a major blow less than a month before the start of the new NFL season.

The former American football powerhouses, like most teams, have been hard at work in pre-season training over the last few weeks.

But training camp has sadly scuppered new signing Rob Jones’ first season with the franchise.

It’s emerged that right guard Jones has suffered a BROKEN NECK and will be out for the duration of the season.

Jones broke a bone in his neck in the Cowboys’ first padded practice of training camp late last month.

He was, according to ESPN, initially given a “two-to-three-month” recovery period.

The uncertainty over his fitness led the Cowboys to place him on the injured reserve list.

Jones was seemingly set to back up frookie right guard Tyler Booker.

Upon learning of the severity of Jones’ injury, the Cowboys opted to fill his roster spot with Malik Davis.

They re-signed Davis a little over three months after releasing him from their roster.
