Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Faith Ward couldn’t have been happier to wear the squad’s uniform.
Ward, 22, took to TikTok on Monday, August 4, to share her ecstatic reaction to rocking the iconic blue-and-white uniform for the first time. In the clip, Ward, who is the only cheerleader allowed to wear a ponytail during games, stood back and checked herself out in front of the camera. She beamed and turned to the side, showing off every angle in the outfit. Ward then spun around and tossed her voluminous updo around while covering her mouth and gasping excitedly at her appearance.
“Baby Faith would be screaming rn🥹💙 #dcc #dccfaith,” she captioned the post. Fans were quick to compliment the dancer in the comments section.
“WOAH! The uniform looks insane with a ponytail,” one wrote. A second praised, “The ponytail is ICONIC and looks amazing with the uniform! You’ll slay this season,” while a third commented, “It looks like it was made for you!!!”
Ward previously opened up about why she’s the only team member to rock a ponytail while everyone else wears their hair down and styled in voluminous curls in July.
The New Zealand native explained that the recruiting team was introduced to her with a ponytail in her headshot. “I’ve been hearing a lot of tales, and I’m here to set the record straight,” she said in a social media post.

Ward then pointed behind her, at a portrait of her headshot. “As you can see here, that’s how it all started. That’s how they found me. That’s how they saw me and I guess they just preferred me with my hair up rather than out.”
She added that her updo first made its debut in training camp earlier that month, and noted that there wasn’t “that much tea to it.”
