Boston Red Sox rookie outfielder Roman Anthony has been on a roll lately, enjoying eight hits over his last four games and contributing 11 total bases. His rise to prominence is also putting a lot more eyeballs on his sister.

Lia Anthony has been a rising star on social media, growing her platform on Instagram alone to over 36,000 followers as of today. She’s been a regular at Red Sox games where her brother plays, greatly raising her public profile.

On that public profile, Anthony’s most recent post was from her trip to Spain. Taking to Instagram she shared a half-dozen photos of herself and some friends enjoying the sights and sounds of a nice hotel and pool with a gorgeous view of the country.

Red Sox fans loved what they saw. Many also gave her props for how well Roman has played recently:

“Now that’s the way to cool off. Enjoy,” one user wrote.

“Spain is beautiful. Roman is doing great lately,” wrote another.

“Little bro is having a good game tonight wish you were here,” a third wrote.

“Tell Roman he did good tonight.”

“Who’s got a better life than you???”

“I’m going to game Wednesday. See you there.”

Roman Anthony made his debut for the Red Sox earlier this month but struggled mightily to get on base early on. In his first six games he had just one hit over 19 plate appearances. He continued to struggled during some road trips against the Mariners, Giants and Angels, but really got on track against the Toronto Blue Jay and most recently the Cincinnati Reds.

Anthony now has a batting average of .210 and an OBP of .329.

There’s certainly plenty of promise there and Lia Anthony will have a front row seat to seeing his ascension.
