It’s a safe bet there aren’t many Dallas Cowboys with this in their bag…

Cowboys DT Solomon Thomas, who stands at 6-3, 295 pounds, has eight seasons of NFL experience under his belt and has logged over 200 tackles across his career, also has a knack for musicals. Didn’t see that coming.

Thomas made a one-night-only cameo appearance in Broadway’s “MJ The Musical” on Friday at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York City. The musical details the life of late pop king Michael Jackson.

Thomas, who signed with the Cowboys on a two-year deal in March, is a former member of the New York Jets. According to a report by Playbill.com, Thomas was a big Broadway supporter during his time in New York and in particular was a fan of “MJ The Musical,” which he apparently saw six times. He even brought a group of Jets teammates to a showing, which was a featured segment on the Jets’ season of HBO’s Hard Knocks.

“I cannot think of a better way to celebrate my time in New York than by making my Broadway debut!” Thomas said in a statement to Playbill. “I am so grateful to ”MJ” for making this dream come true and for the support over the past few years. It’s truly an honor to be able to witness the greatness of these performers.”

Thomas has a reputation as a bit of an NFL Renaissance man. Aside from being a three-time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, Thomas is also an animal lover and a surfer who lived in Australia for five years. He’s a devoted mental health advocate, as well.

He also bears a bit of a resemblance to Dak Prescott. So if the 2025 Cowboys win the Super Bowl and there is to be a Broadway musical about their heroic quarterback, it might already have its leading man.

Parsons wants to stay. The Cowboys want to keep their premier defender. Will a deal get done?

According to an Instagram post from Overshown, baby No. 2 was born on June 13.
