Pop superstar Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, NFL tight end Travis Kelce, melted hearts on and off the ice this weekend during a surprise visit to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
On Friday the 13th, a date Taylor is known to consider lucky—thanks to her long-standing attachment to the number 13—the “Tortured Poets Department” singer turned an ordinary day for young patients into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Dressed in a sage green, low-key cotton poplin dress, Swift made her way through the pediatric halls, waving and greeting children with warmth and enthusiasm.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), Swift enters a patient’s room with a big smile, saying, “Nice to meet you,” before complimenting the young patient with, “I like your hair—so cool.”
The hospital visit came just hours after she and Kelce enjoyed a glamorous night out at Amerant Bank Arena for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, where the Florida Panthers faced off against the Edmonton Oilers. Dressed in a crystal-studded beige ensemble by AREA, paired with ivory Prada combat boots and a black Chanel handbag, Swift lit up the arena stands. One lucky fan wearing a Midnights cardigan even managed to take a selfie with the singer. In the now-viral clip, Swift takes the phone and jokes, “I’ve got it—I’ve got really long arms.”
Kelce, also 35, coordinated in a casual red outfit with a matching cap, proudly supporting his team and staying close to Swift throughout the game.
Swift’s hospital appearance mirrors a similar surprise visit she made late last year to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, where she met with pediatric oncology patients, created TikToks, signed concert books, and even followed up with heartfelt Christmas gifts. One young fan, Scarlet, received a $600 Dyson Airwrap from Swift, along with a note that read: “In case Santa doesn’t come through—love, Taylor.”
While football season may be on pause, Swift is still radiating her signature Bejeweled energy—now shining across both sports and hospitals. And just like her music, her kindness continues to hit all the right notes.
