Roman Anthony’s sister Lia becomes breakout star during top prospect’s second Red Sox game

Roman Anthony’s sister had the internet buzzing as she supported the Boston Red Sox right fielder, who’s the No. 1 prospect in MLB, in his second game Tuesday against the visiting Tampa Bay Rays.

Lia Anthony stole the spotlight while taking in the action at Fenway Park with their family, which includes mom Lori, who was seen tearing up, dad Anthony Sr. and brother Anthony Jr., who goes by Tony.

Those behind the camera zoomed in on the stunning brunette, who wore a red tube top and matching lipstick, multiple times.

Anthony’s family was seen cheering for the 21-year-old when his first-career hit to left field drove in two runs to give Boston a 2-0 lead at the bottom of the first.

However, Lia, a recent graduate of Florida State University, was the talk of social media.

They praised him for his hard work during an in-game interview with NESN.

“We’ve supported him throughout everything and we’re always there for him and we just do the best that we can,” Lia said. “But honestly, it’s all him. It’s impressive the way that he holds himself and the way that he talks in interviews. It’s amazing … it’s surreal. The whole thing is surreal.”

Anthony Sr. added, “A lot of years of hard work and dedication on his part and the whole family’s part.”
