ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves on Wednesday announced they will be contributing more than $4 million for several community projects tied to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

The projects span from a renovated softball complex in Cobb County to a fitness installation at a Fayetteville camp to volunteering at an Atlanta community farm.

In a release, the Braves said the 2025 All-Star Legacy initiative would ensure that the events surrounding the game “leave a meaningful impact throughout the host communities of Atlanta.”

The full list of projects includes:

  • A field renovation at the Rhyne Park Softball Complex in Cobb County: Several youth softball leagues use the complex, and the Braves say they will help install “three new turf fields, a new batting cage, updated fencing, painting, windscreens and more.”
  • A field renovation at the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta Barksdale Baseball Field ion Rockdale County: The Braves said this project includes “refurbishment of the baseball field, installation security fencing around the perimeter to protect the field and its users, substantial repairs to the dugout and scoreboard, as well as installation of irrigation and light systems.”
  • Volunteer event at Leila Valley Community Farm in southeast Atlanta: Food Well Alliance and Atlanta Housing will join this project to “cultivate an innovative farm, garden and orchard” that will, when finished, “provide tens of thousands of pounds of fresh produce to Atlanta Housing residents annually.”
