SO AMAZING!! Jalen Ramsey Buys Dallas-Area Home as Cowboys Trade Rumors Swirl

The cap isn’t the issue — it’s the will. And Jalen Ramsey just bought the real estate in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Jeremy Fowler recently reported that the Dallas Cowboys are “one to watch” in a potential Jalen Ramsey trade. That was enough to light the fuse. A marquee name. A Super Bowl résumé. And a team with question marks in the secondary? The optics wrote themselves.

But team insiders – including CowboysCountry.com’s Mike Fisher – were quick to cool the buzz. They’ve heard nothing of substance inside the building. No internal discussions. No groundwork being laid.

Still, something new just hit the equation: CowboysCountry.com can confirm that Jalen Ramsey recently purchased a home in Fort Worth.

Now — does that mean he’s joining the Cowboys? No.
It doesn’t even guarantee he’ll be the one living in that home. And it certainly doesn’t confirm that the Cowboys are actively pursuing him. But it’s worth noting. Because the move was real. And so is the math.

It’s also worth acknowleging that the closest point between Fort Worth and Frisco is still a minimum 45 minute driving distance. And it’s not like athletes living in DFW is uncommon. So take that for what it’s worth.

Ramsey also isn’t exactly cheap. In 2025, he’s guaranteed $24 million, including a $4 million roster bonus that’s already been triggered — and which the Dolphins will be responsible for.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, have over $32 million in cap space. If they wanted to ship a Day 3 pick to Miami and drop $20 million on their books for a one-year swing at greatness? They absolutely could. Structurally, financially — it’s doable.

The real question is philosophical. Do they want to? Fish and others are telling us that the answer at this time is “no.”

That answer changing might hinge on the health of Trevon Diggs, the growth of Caelen Carson, and the development of Kaiir Elam and Shevon Revel Jr. If that group comes along, Ramsey is a luxury. If not?

This is the kind of swing you make for right now — and defer the consequences. But the Cowboys aren’t doing it “now.” … even if Ramsey is setting up housekeeping around here.
