Braves News: Big Series Win in Boston, Spencer Strider, More

On Sunday, the Braves earned a big series win over the Red Sox. It came via a 10-4 victory due to an offensive outburst, where the Braves had success at the plate both early and late in the game. It was a nice way to end the weekend that included of the best wins (Friday) and worst losses (Saturday) of the season for the Braves.

But again, the offense was the story of the weekend. On Sunday, Atlanta scored 10 runs for just the second time this season (first time was first win of season in hope opener over Marlins.) It also was the first time since April that the offense scored more than 5 runs in back-to-back games. And more importantly, the success was due both to timely hitting and the long ball. If the offense can get going, this Braves team can continue winning at the pace that it needs.
