“I Defended Him Too Long” Cowboys Fans Turn On Star Amid 3-5 Start (Report) – Gridiron Heroics

The Dallas Cowboys did not expect to start the season 3-5 while also staring at the next few weeks without Dak Prescott under center.  Dallas is also coming off three straight 12-win seasons, they would need to win every game for the rest of the season in order to reach that feat for the fourth straight season.

However, one star player is coming under some heavy scrutiny that could impact his future on the team.

According to Himangshu Sinha of Sportskeeda:

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons discussed his team’s struggles on his podcast, “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” on Tuesday.

The Cowboys are third in the NFC East with 3-5 record, and their chances of making the postseason look bleak.

However, Parsons wants fans not to give up hope while their chances are still alive.

“They always say it’s not over til the fat lady sings’, and I ain’t heard her sing yet,” Parsons said.

However, fans were outraged by Parson’s words and criticized his defense of the Cowboys.

One fan tweeted,

All he does is talk man lol… Ridiculous.”

“Yeah, I defended him too long. He needs to go,” another comment read.

“Do more say less” sweater and all he does is talk,” one fan said.

However, one fan disagreed with this opinion,

“I hate the Cowboys as much as the next guy, but it is his podcast, and when he’s playing, he’s arguably one of the top 10 defensive players in the entire league!” they said.
