49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk Faces Backlash For Latest Life Decision

The San Francisco 49ers fell out of the NFL playoff picture last season after nearly winning the Super Bowl the previous year, casting long shadows over the team’s front office and players heading into 2025-2026.

Star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk played in just seven games, recording 374 yards and no touchdowns on the season as the 49ers were relegated to the basement of the NFC West.

On Sunday, May 4, Aiyuk turned heads on social media and faced a backlash from fans as he revealed his latest life decision in a video shared on social media.

“Inspirational: 49ers star WR Brandon Aiyuk bought a custom Lamborghini Urus worth over $300K,” reporter Dov Kleiman wrote on X.

“Aiyuk now has a car collection worth well over $1 MILLION.

“You can just see the excitement on his face.”

Several fans chose not to agree with Kleiman’s take as they began calling out Aiyuk under the video post.

“Still gonna get traded,” one fan said, adding a symbol of a face shedding tears.

“Can the car catch balls?” another fan said, throwing shade at the 49ers wideout.

“Robbing San Fran blind,” another fan said with four crying and laughing symbols.

Aiyuk suffered a torn ACL and MCL in October 2024, ending his season early. Fans didn’t let that deter them from making snide comments.

“Bro has more excitement in this video than he had all last season with the 49ers,” another reader added with a crying emoji.
