When roster construction officially began across the NFL this offseason the Dallas Cowboys were, to the shock of many, rather busy.
The world saw a flurry (relatively speaking) of activity from the Cowboys early on and part of that action involved trades for veteran players. One of these swaps involved acquiring linebacker Kenneth Murray from the Tennessee Titans, something that cost the Cowboys a sixth-round pick.
While Dallas sent a sixth-rounder for Murray, they also received a seventh- in return (239 overall). That pick is yet to come in the 2025 NFL Draft, but we do now know what that sixth-round pick became.
Tennessee drafted Michigan running back Kalel Mullings with the pick in question. Interestingly another pick that Dallas dealt – the one they sent to the Carolina Panthers in the Jonathan Mingo trade – also became a running back in Georgia’s Trevor Etienne.
These trades are all starting to get sewn up.
