BOSTON — Manager Alex Cora will go with the same normal lineup he has used recently.

The Red Sox welcome the Mariners to Fenway Park for the first game of a three-game series Tuesday. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

Boston activated starter Brayan Bello from the 15-day IL and optioned reliever Zack Kelly to Triple-A Worcester earlier Tuesday. Bello will make the start for Boston, his 2025 season debut. Seattle will counter with Bryce Miller (1-2, 3.43 ERA).

Cora said he hopes to get five innings out of Bello.

“Obviously he’s a big part of what we’re trying to accomplish,” Bello said. “Velocity is up, which is very important for us. The action of his pitches are good. We know what he can do.”
