Red Sox Vs. White Sox Lineups: Walker Buehler Takes Hill On Marathon Monday

BOSTON — Walker Buehler will take the hill as the Red Sox go for a series win against the Chicago White Sox on Patriots’ Day.

Boston had its four-game win streak snapped in an 8-4 loss at Fenway Park on Sunday.

Trevor Story returns to the lineup after getting the day off. He’ll bat cleanup and play shortstop with David Hamilton on the bench. Rob Refsnyder also will return to the lineup, batting eighth and playing left field.

Buehler returns to the mound for the Red Sox after limiting the Tampa Bay Rays to two runs on three hits in five innings last week. He’s pitched five or more innings in each of his last three starts.

The White Sox counter with right-hander Jonathan Cannon.
