Confirms: Drake Baldwin enters the lineup for Braves in Sunday finale vs. Twins

This lineup has worked pretty well for the first two games. May as well (mostly) stick with it for the sweep attempt.

The lineups are out for Sunday’s series finale, as the Atlanta Braves are looking to win three games in a row and also looking for their first sweep of the season at the expense of the Minnesota Twins.

Brian Snitker appear to have found himself a nice little lineup to stick with, as Atlanta has come back home swinging over the past two games.

Here’s today’s lineup for the Braves:

Outside of one notable change, this is the exact same lineup that the Braves have gone with since they returned home from North of the border.

The notable change is that Drake Baldwin is getting the start here on Sunday, which is usually the case for backup catchers for the Braves in recent years.

Baldwin is finally starting to see some rewards at the plate after toiling for so long to start this season. He hit his first career home run in Toronto and then he came through with the go-ahead RBI knock during that furious comeback on Friday.

Hopefully he’ll be able to continue seeing production as he gets the start here today.

Here’s Minnesota’s lineup:

Trevor Larnach is back in the lineup and playing in right field. DaShawn Keirsey Jr. suffered a left hand contusion during Saturday’s contest so I’d imagine that (and overall better production so far) why Larnach is getting the start this afternoon.

Eduoard Julien is back in the lineup as well and leading off like he did on Friday night.

The game is set to start at 1:35 p.m. ET.
