BOSTON — Shortstop Trevor Story, Boston’s hottest hitter, is not in the Red Sox lineup Sunday.

Story will have the day off. David Hamilton will play shortstop.

The Red Sox and White Sox will play the third game of their four-game series at 1:35 p.m. here at Fenway Park.

Boston won 10-3 on Friday and 4-3 Saturday on Triston Casas’ walkoff single in the 10th inning.

Story is batting .318 with a .348 on-base percentage, .518 slugging percentage, .866 OPS, five home runs, two doubles, 14 RBIs, 10 runs, three walks and 25 strikeouts in 22 games. He has 17 hits in his past 45 at-bats (.378).

Tanner Houck will try to bounce back after he allowed 12 runs (11 earned) on 10 hits in just 2 ⅓ innings in a blowout loss to the Rays this past Monday. Pitching coach Andrew Bailey said missed locations and non-competitive pitches in important counts led Houck to struggle against the Rays.

Blake Sabol will catch him.

Sutton native Sean Burke will start for Chicago. This will be his first career outing against the Red Sox.
