Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton proposed the Miami Dolphins trading wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Dallas Cowboys.

The drama around Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill never seems to end.

Hill has started his own trade rumors through cryptic social media posts multiple times this offseason. While he continuously shoots down any trade speculation that follows, it’s a distraction for his team.

Even worse, Hill may soon be involved in off-the-field controversy. The Miami Herald reported on April 9 that Hill was served with divorce papers one day after police were called to his home for an alleged domestic violence dispute.

Could the Dolphins be growing tired of the controversy around Hill? Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton argued they could be.

On April 13, Moton included Hill on a list of big potential NFL trades that could still happen in 2025. Moton proposed the Dolphins send Hill to the Dallas Cowboys during the NFL Draft.

“The Dolphins signed wideout Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in free agency, and they could further address the position in the upcoming draft. They could quietly shop Hill if they intend to take a receiver within the first two rounds,” wrote Moton.

“If the Cowboys miss out on [Tetairoa] McMillan or pass on him, they could call the Dolphins to make a blockbuster move for Hill. Dallas would make Dak Prescott a happy quarterback if he returns from injury to see CeeDee Lamb and Hill as his top two receivers.”

Moton proposed the Dolphins send Hill and a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 155 overall) to the Cowboys for a 2025 second-round pick (No. 44 overall) and a 2026 fourth-rounder.

Kohou signed his $3.3 million tender with the Dolphins on Friday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Miami tendered Kohou in early March, and the 26-year-old is now set to return for a fourth campaign with the club. Kohou logged career lows with 671 defensive snaps, 45 tackles and eight defensed passes over 15 games last season, though he did nab a career-best two pickoffs. He started nine of those 15 contests and could be headed for a starting role in 2025 pending additional moves made by Miami.

Daniels (Achilles) said Wednesday that he expects to be fully healthy for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season, C. Isaiah Smalls of the Miami Herald reports. Daniels missed all but the first four games of the 2024 campaign due to an Achilles tear, though he did start in all four of his appearances as the Steelers’ top right guard. If he’s indeed able to return to full health without any setbacks this offseason, Daniels’ presence projects as a notable boost for Miami’s needy offensive line. He’s capable of starting at either guard position as well as potentially at center.

Jones re-signed with the Dolphins on Thursday. The nose tackle played in all 17 regular-season games and started 15 for the Dolphins in 2024, making 24 tackles (nine solo). Jones, who originally signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2020, also started 15 of 17 regular-season games for Detroit in 2023, recording 26 tackles (13 solo), including 1.0 sacks. He should have a chance to compete for a starting job again in 2025.

Gay signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. After signing with the Dolphins, Gay will play for his third team in just as many years in 2025. The Mississippi State product appeared in 15 games with the Saints in 2024, recording 28 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, three passes defended and one forced fumble across 259 defensive snaps. He’s likely to compete for a depth role in Miami’s linebacker corps throughout the summer.

The Dolphins signed Burns to a one-year deal Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The 2016 first-round pick is returning home, having been born and raised in Miami before spending three years at the University of Miami. Burns saw limited action in 2024, appearing in just four games for the Seahawks and recording four total tackles and three passes defended across 105 total snaps (50 defensive, 55 on special teams). The eight-year NFL veteran is now expected to compete for a special-teams role and provide depth in the Dolphins secondary throughout the summer.

Skinner stopped 21 of 22 shots in Sunday’s 3-1 win over the Rangers. Skinner put an end to a two-game skid after losing to the Sabres and Devils earlier in the road trip. The 26-year-old limited the damage to a Will Cuylle goal on a broken play at the net front in the second period. Skinner improved to 23-17-4 with a 2.84 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 46 outings this season. The Oilers open a four-game homestand Tuesday versus Utah.

Drouin put away a goal, registered a power-play assist and added two shots on target in Sunday’s 4-3 overtime win over the Stars. Drouin’s power-play helper was in the first period before he found the back of the net himself late in the second period. With his two tallies, Drouin eclipsed both the 10-goal mark and 20-assist threshold on the season. With 30 points in 35 games, the 29-year-old is third on Colorado’s active roster in points among forwards. Drouin has made a strong impact for the Avalanche in his limited action this season. He holds a spot on Colorado’s top power-play unit and can make an impact in deeper leagues in fantasy with the playoffs fast approaching. He is in a great spot to surpass the 40-point mark for the fifth time in his career.

The Dolphins are signing Stonehouse, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Stonehouse will reunite with new Dolphins special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman after the pair worked together for nearly two seasons in Tennessee in 2022 and a portion of 2023. Stonehouse led the NFL in yards per punt during each of those two regular seasons and ranked third in the league last year. His signing suggests that incumbent Dolphins punter Jake Bailey is likely on his way out of Miami.
