George Kittle Sends Emotional Message to Wife Claire Kittle on Thursday

George Kittle recently capped off his eighth season in the NFL, concluding another stellar year with the San Francisco 49ers. Kittle had an early offseason since the 49ers missed the postseason mark, finishing the year with a 6-11 record. San Francisco was ranked last in the NFC West, behind the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.

Despite the 49ers’ struggles off the field, Kittle has had quite a lot of success outside of the white lines. He recently posted about his anniversary with his wife, Claire Kittle, congratulating his partner on six years of marriage. “My wiiiife,” George Kittle said. “Happy Anniversary, Claire Kittle. six years married.”

According to Charlotte Walsh at People, Kittle and his wife first met in 2012 when the two were freshmen at the University of Iowa. After working through his college football and NFL career, Kittle popped the question.

He proposed to Claire Kittle in 2018 and they wound up getting married in 2019.

During Kittle’s eighth season in the NFL, the 49ers tight end posted eight touchdowns and 1,106 yards on 78 receptions. He recorded his fourth season with over 1,000 receiving yards, having reached the mark in back-to-back seasons.

Kittle is now headed into his ninth season at the professional level, having already established himself as one of the best players in his respective position.
