CONGRATS: New York Mets’ Francisco Lindor Welcomes Baby No. 3 with Wife Katia — and Reveals Baby Boy’s Name

The couple is already parents to daughters Kalina Zoé, 4, and Amapola Chloé, 21 months

New York Mets’ Francisco Lindor and his wife are parents again!

The professional athlete, 31, and his wife Katia have welcomed their third baby, sharing the exciting news — and the first photo — on Instagram. In the sweet snap, the couple’s baby sleeps soundly in a blue blanket, resting on a knit blanket that’s embroidered with a rainbow, a giraffe and a moon with stars.

“Koa Amani 🌳,” they wrote in the caption, revealing their baby son’s name.

Alongside Koa, the couple is parents to daughters Kalina Zoé, 4, and Amapola Chloé, 21 months.

Back in December, the Mets star and the Un-a-Parent podcast host shared that they were expecting their third baby in a joint Instagram. The couple shared several sweet photos from a maternity photo shoot, which included photos of Reguero showing off her baby bump and sweet family snaps with their daughters.

In one sweet photo, Francisco could be seen holding Amapola while Kalina reached up to touch her mom’s stomach.

Katia wore a flowy pink skirt and white sweater, placing a hand on her stomach and another hand of her baby daughter’s. They also included shots of Katia and Francisco posing alone, as well as a photo of their family where Kalina held up a series of sonogram images.

“All eyes on you, little one. Party of 5 coming soon. 😁,” the couple wrote in their joint caption.

In an interview with the New York Post back in April 2022, Francisco shared that the couple first met on Instagram. He recalled messaging Katia after he saw her photo for the first time and thought “This girl is beautiful!”

“We talked for three months and then I met her in Arizona ’cause I was out there for spring training,” he continued. “We just hung out and I was like, ‘I think she’s the one.’ At first, I was a little bit like, ‘Ahh, I don’t want to really commit,’ but I knew that she was the one.”

Lindor and Reguero were then married on Dec. 16, 2021, at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Fla. — one year after they welcomed their first daughter Kalina on Nov. 4, 2020. The couple announced that their second baby was on the way in another joint Instagram post in January 2023, writing, “Celebrating love & baby número dos coming June 2023 🥰 #soontobefamilyof4.”
