REPORT TRADE: Cowboys & Ravens in shocking trade talks—Is Tyreek Hill the missing piece?

Wild-guessers are predicting the move of Tyreek Hill to either the Dallas Cowboys or the Baltimore Ravens.
To be clear, the idea of Tyreek Hill leaving the Miami Dolphins via a trade was first mentioned by Tyreek himself … and then retracted.

After Miami’s season ended in Week 18 amid accusations that Hill quit on his team, he told reporters in the post-game locker room he wanted to end his relationship with the team.

“I’m out bro,” he said. “It was great playing here but at the end of the day I gotta do what’s best for my career.”

“I want to stay with the Dolphins.”

And so he likely will. But …

Ex NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert is essentially predicting the move of Hill to the Dallas Cowboys via trade … while also mentioning the Baltimore Ravens.

“I would not be shocked,” he wrote on X, “to see the Dolphins trade Tyreek Hill on draft night. My ideal landing spots for him are Dallas and Baltimore.”

Fun stuff … but there is no evidence that Benkert has any actual information here, any actual insight.

The Cowboys do need to add receiver talent alongside CeeDee Lamb as Dak Prescott help. Do the Ravens need the same?

The Sporting News has suggested also suggested Dallas and Baltimore as Hill’s next employer. They write of the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens, “So far this offseason, the Ravens have signed wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, re-signed offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, and added backup quarterback Cooper Rush as three of their bigger moves.

“Baltimore adding Hopkins was a nice get for Jackson. Hopkins will help add more firepower to the offense alongside Zay Flowers.

“However, if the opportunity presented itself, would the Ravens get aggressive and swing big on a superstar wide receiver via the trade market?”

Baltimore, unlike Dallas, already has a good receiving room, Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman being joined by the newly signed Hopkins. Oh, and the Ravens also have two tight ends who can play and Derrick Henry in the backfield.

There’s only one ball to go around.

Still. TSN insists that to “get over the championship hump. … Hill might be the missing piece.”

Unfortunately again, though, there is no evidence of a connection. … and maybe too little mention of the fact that Tyreek comes with a great deal of behavioral baggage, is 31 with fading numbers (81 passes for 959 yards and six TDs last year) and is due to get paid $28 million this year.

Hill has essentially tried to shut down the rumored trades with his own comments.

The media does not appear to be listening.
