Cowboys Should Pursue These Two Free Agents to Boost Super Bowl Chances Read more at:

The Dallas Cowboys have been much busier this offseason than many expected them to be. Jerry Jones has been looking to make the moves necessary to get the team back into Super Bowl contention. So far, the Cowboys have been able to make quite a few additions and have also brought back some of their own talent.

Among those moves are running backs Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, trading for linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr. and cornerback Kaiir Elam, and bringing back Osa Odighizuwa. With that being said, there are still some areas Dallas could look to improve. There are two free agents on the market the Cowboys should still try to sign.

Bringing more help at the linebacker position and at wide receiver would be wise for Jones and Dallas. Which two free agents left on the market would be the ideal targets to help the Cowboys become even more serious Super Bowl contenders? Amari Cooper, Wide Receiver

One potential target would be a very familiar face. Cooper is a free agent and has not been heavily talked about since free agency opened. During the 2024 season, Cooper had a down year. Split between the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills, the 30-year-old wideout caught 44 passes for 547 yards and four touchdowns. Teaming up with CeeDee Lamb and returning to Dallas could help him get back on track. Cooper is still more than capable of being an impact player and the Cowboys should consider bringing him back to beef up their offense and take pressure off of Lamb.

C.J. Mosley, Linebacker Following his release from the New York Jets, Mosley would be a big-time move for Dallas. He could help with leadership and top-tier performance on the field. Mosley played in just four games during the 2024 campaign due to a toe injury at the beginning of the year and then a herniated disk in his neck. Back in 2023, however, he put up big-time numbers.

In 2023, the 32-year-old linebacker totaled 151 tackles, 0.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, an interception, and seven defended passes in 17 games. He is still capable of being a leader and a high-end starter. Dallas should give him a chance to prove it on a one or two-year deal.
