Being one of the highest players in the MLB is not easy, even if you are Juan Soto. The Mets star has a massive fanbase in the league, but he’s also got a lot of haters. It’s common for top players to witness such instances. The same goes with Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge.

Juan Soto recorded the largest deal in sports history, and some Yankees fans have reacted with hatred. The slugger picked the Mets, and many have been unhappy. However, it turns out that Soto has haters who are not Yankees fans. The Mets were up against the St. Louis Cardinals in their spring training game.

While Juan Soto was fielding in his position, a fan started yelling at him, saying that he is “overpaid” and “overrated.” Along with him, a few other fans began laughing in the video. Soto turned around and stared at the fan but didn’t engage. When it was his time to come up at the plate, the All-Star cranked a homer toward the same fans.

The fan who yelled at Soto was seen trying to catch his home run ball. Here’s a look at the video.

Several fans have commented on Juan Soto being overpaid, but the slugger never fails to prove his worth.

Soto has played with several MLB stars in his career with the Nationals, Padres, and Yankees. He’s batted along with Aaron Judge, but he named Fernando Tatis Jr. as the best player in the league.

“Fernando Tatis Jr. is the best player in the game for me, he can do it all in the field. You can see players that do everything at least average or better, but he does everything elite,” Soto said.

The slugger continued to praise his former teammate, saying he had won the platinum glove. Despite Juan Soto’s short stint with the Padres, he has a close relationship with Tatis. Soto looks forward to a strong season with the Mets. Steven Cohen wants to see his team in the World Series, and Soto will play a crucial role. The Mets are dealing with injured players, and fans are upset with Francisco Alvarez’s injury.
